Henry:: 6 months

Apparently it takes me nearly a month to write these things, as Henry is almost 7 months old now.

I can't believe all the things he is doing! He has been crawling since about 5.5 months and can totally get across the room now...quickly too!

About a week ago, he started pulling up on things. It's pretty darn cute when he gives a big toothless grin and giggles about how proud he is.

He is doing things so much sooner than Amelia! It's amazing. He is totally going to be getting into everything soon...

Amelia just loves him. Still!
All day our house is filled with, "Come on Henry!" "Look Henry!"
But there's lots of "No Henry!"s too!

Henry is so much fun! He's social and loves to smile and be held. Since around 5 months old, when he started sitting up, he's gotten better at playing independently. Everything goes in his mouth now too.

About a week ago he started saying, DA DA DA DA and talking a lot more. It's pretty precious.

He's eating solids now and doing pretty well with them.

At the 6 month appointment he was in the 94% for height (again, he's tall!!) and 9% for weight. Definitively still tall and skinny! :)

Sleep on the other hand.....it's just terrible. Terrible. No, actually it's getting a lot better. The past 2.5 months have been really rough. We've had to do quite a bit of sleep training. It seems like every time we get in the swing of things, we go on a trip or find some way to mess up his sleep schedule. We now put Henry in Amelia's room at night, and I think this is for the best to help him sleep better at night.

I've had the best time on maternity leave and hanging out with my babies this summer. I'm getting really sad about having to leave him to go back to work. But I'm blessed that I at least got to stay home for 7 months.
