Look at this guy!
He's getting so big!
He's probably closer to 3 months old now...but at his 2 month appointment he was nearly 12lbs and around 23 inches. Skinny and long. Although he has the cutest round chubby face, doesn't he?
The past few weeks he's gotten really good at smiling and laughing. It's pretty precious when he kicks his little legs and grins in excitement. He's such a happy little guy.
He comes to track practice with me when the weather is nice and has even toughed it out for two track meets so far. He doesn't complain and is wrapped up snug in the boba wrap!
He likes to eat every 2.5-3hr and usually wants to eat twice at night. Every now and then he will give me a glorious stretch of sleep and only wake up once. It's magnificent! Other nights, like last night, he'll wake up 3 times. Those nights suck...a lot, as they usually follow a couple nights of 1x feedings.
I feel as though Henry has always been here. His face is so familiar to me...I feel as though I've known him forever. I'm not sure if it's because I'm remembering holding baby Amelia or what...but I just feel as though I've always known Henry. It's a good comforting feeling for a momma to have. Round 2 of motherhood is treating us well. He's hunger/sleep signs are easy to read and we spend a bunch of time just cuddling up on the couch. He loves to be held -- much more than Amelia did. Which I don't mind at all, but it's kinda hard to do as I'm chasing around an almost 2 year old all day.
So there it is. My Henny Roo Roo (isn't that a ridiculously sweet nickname? He's gonna love it when he's 16).
