Frisbee golf with the Stuarts!

Here are some photos of the Stuarts that I snapped this week. The weather was so beautiful on Monday that we headed out to the park to play frisbee golf during our normal FHE time. It was great to spend time outdoors with our friends! Ice cream at Coldstone after was pretty fabulous too! :)

Finally! Here are some pictures from our trip to Seattle during Spring Break. We had a fantastic restful couple of days! We splurged a little and stayed in a nice cozy hotel (see below :) ) We went to Pikes Market, walked around downtown, went to the Seattle Aquarium (and saw my favorite animals - Sea Otters!), ate a delicious dinner at Wild Ginger (yummy mango pork!), we also went to the Seattle Center and people watched and went up to the top of the Space Needle. We took a detour on our way home and stopped at Snoqualamie Falls and nearly stayed forever in that beautiful little town in between the mountains.

babysitting all weekend
work sample due in 6 days (AHHH!)
oregon job fair in 2 days
= a "very busy, not happy, nothing is done that needs to be done, exhausted Carlie"

GO SAXONS!

....it's 10:30pm! AH! But I just have to blog and brag about my track stars!!

Our track meet today went until 9:45pm, so crazy! The weather was awful- rainy, windy and soooo soooo COLD! But everyone did amazing - I am so proud of the little athletes that I help coach! Both Boys and Girls won against Sprague - wahoooooo!!!

No one complained too bad about the freezing weather or the pooly ran track meet.

My hurdler boys got 1-2-3 in the 100HH AND the 300H!!! WE SWEPT THE HURDLES - SO AMAZING! The girls did just as good, with 1-3-3 in the 100H and 1-2 in the 300H!!! And so many other sprinters did really well, it was GREAT! I'm impressed.

Even though I'm completely exhausted and have a million other things going on right now (work sample!) besides track - today was so much fun!!!!! I love coaching track amd helping those kids do the best they can!

Seattle! Seattle!

today: we are having a great time in seattle so far. tonight is our 2nd night. today included breakfast at pikes market. walking around the market sippying delicious frozen lemonade slushi that froze my fingertips off. no tossing of the fish! :( seattle aquarium (adorable sea otters included). antique shopping. people watching. monorail ride to the space needle. artsy photos. elevator ride to the top. beautiful sunny view of puget sound and the seattle cityscape. greasy cheap but good dinner. and back to our fancy, warm and cozy hotel. great day....

yesterday: drove to 3hrs to seattle. checked into swanky 'club' 4 star hotel that was a steal. walked around downtown seattle til our feet ached. spent hours trying to find a restaurant with a meal under $30. no such luck. ate at wild ginger - gorgeously tasty mango pork curry dish - sooooooo delicious and almost worth every penny (almost). walk home. minature neutrogena lotions. TV!!!! (those who know, we don't have one! so it was an extra treat!) relaxing...
