Southern California

We spent quite a bit of time in California this summer. Here are more pics from our HOSA/Disney trip. We took walks to downtown disney quite a bit, but also rented a car to go to the Los Angeles Natural History Museum...we love natural history museums! I think Dan went to 3 this summer.

(FYI - we're really good at taking pictures these days....)

We stayed with my Aunt Kelly and saw our cousins and Nana!

Disneyland

Even though I worked a ton this summer, we made a lot of time to travel and do fun things as a family. Without my job as a Master Teacher for PLTW, we probably wouldn't have been able to do everything we did!

I joined my students at HOSA Nationals in Anaheim, CA and of course we had to bring the kids to Disneyland!
Grandma and Grandpa and Chey, Ryan and Gracie even joined us!

Amelia loved seeing all of the Disney characters! I didn't think she would like them so much, but she loved it. She's really coming out of her shell, here she is dancing at Disney.

This is her cute star struck face when she saw Anna and Elsa for the first time. Heaven!!!

The kids were really great! We went for 3 days and there really were hardly any tantrums or kicking and screaming. It really helped to know that our hotel was within a few minutes walk and we could go back if needed. I really only needed to go back once with Henry, it was amazing!

We saw our cousins in downtown disney one evening! I wish we lived closer!

Amelia loved her Minnie Mouse dress, she wore it twice! And even though Henry was not even 18 months at the time, he did really well and I think he had a good time!

The fight to get a good parade viewing spot is real people.

It was hot and crowded during the summer, but totally worth it! We can't wait to save up and go again!
